About
Michelle Rassp is a contemporary artist born and raised in the north-western Greater area of Los Angeles.
She has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Illustration from Cal State University Northridge and a Master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University.
Her major influences include Pablo Picasso, Maurits Cornelis Escher, and Salvador Dali. Her use of abstract surrealism, pen and ink, crosshatching, and water coloring continue to shape her unique style and distinct contemporary aesthetic.
The twenty paintings displayed on this online Portfolio barely scratch the surface as to how many paintings Michelle completed in her lifetime. She would compose as many as 10-100 paintings on a single day! Her paintings can be as small as 6'' x 6'' inches, but as large as 10' by 20' feet!
